South Korea currently has about 200 cryptocurrency exchanges, he said.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4 class=\"title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/mastercard-crypto-rewards-credit-card-real-time-bitcoin-rewards\/\">[2] Mastercard Launching Crypto Rewards Credit Card With Real-Time Bitcoin Rewards<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mastercard is launching a new cryptocurrency rewards credit card featuring real-time rewards in partnership with crypto exchange Gemini. The exchange will leverage Skew\u2019s data with the firm\u2019s institutional subsidiary Coinbase Prime. The goal is to make \u201ccryptocurrency markets more transparent and accessible for institutional investors.\u201d<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4 class=\"title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/2021s-largest-drop-bitcoin-mining-difficulty-dips-over-12-hashrate-200-exahash\/\">[6] 2021&#8217;s Largest Epoch Drop: Bitcoin Network\u2019s Mining Difficulty Dips Over 12%, Hashrate Nears 200 Exahash<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bitcoin\u2019s mining difficulty has seen a massive drop this week, as the metric slid 12.6% and was the largest difficulty drop in 2021. The mining difficulty decline follows the recent electrical outages in China which had affected the network\u2019s hashrate to some degree.
